The main conceptual idea is that students in Serbia can save up to €25,000 on their rent by taking advantage of a new government program offering subsidized housing loans. The program is beneficial because the subsidized loan rates are significantly lower than normal rent, resulting in substantial savings over the first six years of a student's university education. Milan Ćulibrk, an economist, encourages parents of students to apply for these loans, highlighting the financial advantage they offer.
